Be it remembered that on this 23 day of August 1875 Before me John Elliott the Clerk of the Circuit Court in this within and for Shelby in the State of Indiana personally appeared Rachel Lee the Plaintiff in the above entitled cause who being by me duly and legally Sworn on her oath says that she is and for more that three than Thirty four years last past has been a resident of the State of Indiana and for two years last past has resided in Shelby County in the State of Indiana. That during the last two years she has resided in Hendricks Township in Shelby County Indian. That during said two years last past she has resided & still resides in Smithland in Hendricks Township in Shelby County Indiana on premises owned by her and and lived with her husband Theodore N. Lee the defendant in the above entitled cause until the 18 day of August 1875 Since which time she and her children have lived together in said premises That her occupation is housekeeping.
