          Be it Known, that on the 26th day of October A.D., 1853, personally appeared in the Shelby Circuit Court, before the Clerk thereof,  Henry Blase  an alien, and reports himself for Naturalization, and being duly sworn on oath declares that he is a native of Pausen in Germany aged about 22 years, and owes allegiance to Frederick William 4th King of Pausen that he emigrated thence, embarked at Baeme Hafen in Germany and arrived at Philadelphia in the United States, on the third day of August A.D., 1852 and that it is bona fide his intention to reside in and become A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever All Allegiance and Fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever; and particularly to Frederick William 4th King of Pausen in Germany.
