Be it Known, that on the 12th day of October A.D., 1852, personally appeared in the Shelby Circuit Court, before the Clerk thereof, Louis Schwartz an alien, and reports himself for Naturalization, and being duly sworn on oath declares that he is a native of Poland, aged about 22 years, and owes allegiance to the Kingdom of Prussia that he emigrated thence, embarked at Liverpool England and arrived at New York in the United States on the ___ day of September A.D., 1848 and that is it bona fide his intention to reside in and become A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever ALL ALLEGIANCE AND FIDELITY to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State of Sovereignty whatever; and particularly to Frederic Wilhelm 4th King of Prussia.
Sworn and subscribed the 12th day of October 1852.
