Be It Known, That on the 25th day of August A.D., 1852, personally appeared in the Shelby Circuit Court before the Clerk thereof, John H. Seefers an alien, and reports himself for Naturalization, and being duly sworn on oath declares that be is a native of Brunswick in Europe aged about 22 years, and owes allegiance to William Prince of Brunswick in Europe that he emigrated thence, embarked at Bremin and arrived at Baltimore Ma. in the United States; on or about the first day of June A.D., 1847, and that it is bona fide his intention to reside in and become A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever All Allegiance And Fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever; and particularly to William, Prince of Brunswick in Europe.
