            This Indenture made this twenty third day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty two between Jeremiah Barlow of the county of Shelby and state of Indiana of the first part and Isaac Willson of the said county of Shelby and state aforesaid of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and forty dollars lawful money of the United States to them in hand well & truly paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, ha[s] granted bargained sold alliened released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien release convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever all of that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the county of Shelby and state of Indiana to wit the West half of the South West Quarter of Range five Township eleven and section thirty six containing eighty acres be the same more or less. And all the estate right title interest claim and demand of the said party of the first part of in and to the said premises and every part thereof; Together with all and singular the privileges and appurtanances to the same belonging or in any wise appurtaining, and the rents issues and profits thereof To have and to hold the premises hereby bargained and sold or meant or intended to be with the appurtanances to the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever. And the said party of the first part his heirs executors and administrators do covenant promise and agree to and with the said party of the second part heirs executors administrators and assigns that the party of the first part are the true and lawful owner of the premises hereby granted and has good right full power and lawful authority to sell and convey the same in manner and form aforesaid. And further that the said party of the first part his heirs executors and administrators will warrant and forever defend the aforesaid premises with their appurtanances and every part and parcel thereof unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever against all persons claiming and to claim by from or under them or any or any of them or by from or under any other person or persons whomsoever.
            In witness whereof the said Jeremiah Barlow and Mary Barlow his wife have hereunto set their hand and seal the day and year above written.

The State of Indiana Shelby County Sct 
            Before me Alexander Blair a Justice of the peace within and for said county personally appeared Jeremiah Barlow and Mary Barlow his wife parties of the first part and acknowledged the above deed of conveyance to be their voluntary act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned.  The said Mary having been examined privily apart from her said husband and the contents of said deed having been fully explained to her says she did execute the same without fear control or coertion from her said husband and doth freely relinquish her right of dower to the premises hereby conveyed. Given under my hand and seal this the twenty third day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty two.
