            Know all men by these presents that the Widows Home and Asylum for aged and indigent women an incorporation Located in Hamilton County and State of Ohio in consideration of the Sum of Six hundred and fifty dollars to wit:  Paid by William J. Wingate of Shelbyville Shelby County State of Indiana the receipt whereof is acknowledged doth hereby grant bargain Sell and convey to the said William J. Wingate his ayers and assigns forever that contain piece or parcel of Real estate Situate in Shelbyville Shelby county State of Indiana and described as follows commencing at a point fifty (50) feet west of the South East corner of lot number Twenty nine (29) on Mechanic street in the Town of Shelbyville in the county aforesaid and running thence west forty (40) feet thence north Seven and one half rods thence East forty (40) feet and thence South Seven and one half rods to the place of beginning being the Same premises devised by Maria Holbrook by her last will and testament to the grantor which said last will and testament was duly proven and admitted to probate by the probate court of the county of Hamilton and state of Ohio on the second day of November AD 1869 as the last will and Testament of Maria Holbrook late of Hamilton County deceased as will fully appear by a certified copy of same recorded in the proper office in Shelby county Indiana
            And all the Estate tills and intress of the said the widows home and asylum for aged and indigent women [-------------------------] of in and to the said premises together with all the privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging and all the Rents issues and profits thereof to have and to hold the same to the only proper use of the said William J. Wingate his heirs and assign forever.
            And the said Widdows home and asylum for aged and indigent women for its self doth hereby covenant with the said William J. Wingate his heirs and assigns that said grantor is the true and lawful owner of the said premises and hath full power to convey the same that the title so conveyed is clear free and uncumbered by any act of said grantor and further that it will warrant and defend the same against all claim or claims part on said premises by said grantor
            In witness whereof the said widdows home and asylum for aged and indigent women by its fiscal trustees Addis E. Chamberlain Edward Sargent and William W. Scarbourgh Set its hands and the Said trustes aforesaid have hereunto set their hands and Seals this twenty second day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Sixty nine

            Be it remembered that on the 23 day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Sixty nine before me a Notary Public in and for said County of Hamilton of the widows home and asylum for aged and indigent women
Fiscal Trustees Addis E. Chamberlain     Edward Sargent     William Scarbourgh    

The grantor in the foregoing deed and acknowledged the signing and sealing thereof to be its voluntary act and deed for the use and purpose therein mentioned
In testimony where of I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my notarial seal on the day and year aforesaid
