            Your Memorialist  Matthias Mount John R. Marsh  represent that on or about the 30th day of May 1842 Thomas J. Mount of said County departed this life intestate seized of a considerable estate both real & personal and leaving  Elizabeth P. Mount  his widow and  John W.,  Mathias,  Joseph E.,  Jane E.,  James S.  &  Martha A. Mount  his children & heirs at law him surviving. That said Estate They pray that letters of Administration of the estate of said decedent may be granted unto your memorialist and they herewith file the renunciation of the right of the said widow to letters of Administration herein.

            You are hereby Commanded to summon  John W. Mount,  Joseph E. Mount,  Jane E. Bently  & her Husband  George Bently, James S. Mount  and  Martha A. Mount  heirs of Law of  Thomas J. Mount  Deceased to personally be and appear before the Judge of the next term of Court of said County on the first day of the next term to be holden at the Court House in Shelbyville on the second Monday in May next then and there to shew cause if any they can why the Real Estate of the said Thomas J. Mount deceased shall not be sold and the proceeds made assets in the Hands of the Administrators of the estate of said Deceased And have you then there this writ

To the Honorable W.H. Sleeth Judge of Said Court

            Your memorialists Matthias Mount and John R. Marsh administrators of the Estate of Thomas J. Mount late of said County dec’d respectfully sheweth that at the last November term of this Court they obtained an order of this Court to sell certain real estate of said decedent, and in accordance with said order they sold said real estate to one John W. Mount at public auction for a sum over the appraised value thereof on a credit of s ix twelve & Eighteen months, and the said John W, Mount has failed to execute notes with security to said Administrators for the purchase money. They therefore pray your honor to grant them further time to make their report herein agreeable to the requisitions of said order. And again your Memorialists will ever pray.
