In the Matter of the Estate of  David Robertson, deceased

            Be it remembered that on the 20th day of June A.D. 1864, on the application of  Francis Amos, I  Alonzo Blair, Clerk of the Common Pleas Court of Shelby County, State of Indiana, in vacation appointed him Administrator of the Estate of  David Robertson, deceased, he having executed and filed his Bond as such Administrator in the penal sum of Twenty five hundred Dollars, with  Elijah Ayres  and  Tinsley Smith  as his surety, which Bond was approved, and thereupon the said Francis Amos took and subscribed an oath as prescribed by law and received his letters of Administration, duly sealed with the seal of said Court and attested by the Clerk, thereof and said Bond, oath and Letters read as follows Towit (Here Insert)

, that on this 20th day of June, 1864 Francis Amos, personally came before the undersigned, Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of Shelby County, who being duly sworn by said Clerk, deposes and says that David Robertson departed this life intestate at Shelby County, Indiana, on the .............. day of May 1864, that said decedent left a personal estate to be administered of the probable value of Twelve hundred Dollars, as he is informed and believes, and further saith not.

STATE OF INDIANA, Shelby COUNTY, SS:
I, Squire L. Vanpelt, County Auditor in and for the county of Shelby, aforesaid, do hereby certify that at a Public sale held by Wm M Phillips, the County Treasurer of the said county of Shelby, which commenced on the first Monday of February in the year 1866, being the fifth day of the month within the hours prescribed by law he did, on said fifth day of February aforesaid, at the Court House door, in the town of Shelbyville, in said county legal notice having been given of such sale, sell to William Amos for the sum of Eight dollars and Nineteen cents the following piece or parcel of land, to=wit: Lots Nos. three (3) and four (4) in the Town of London County and State aforesaid the said sum being the amount of taxes, penalty interest and costs due on the above described lots

for the year 1864 and 1865 said lands being appraised and duly entered for taxation in the name of J. I. Robertson --------------- and the said William Amos --------------- the purchaser above named having filed in my office the receipt of the Treasurer aforesaid for the full payment of the above named purchase money, (he being the highest and best bidder for cash), will be entitled for a deed for the tract of land so purchased as above described, at the expiration of two years from this date if the same shall not have been previously redeemed, or shall not be the property of Infants, Idiots or Femmes Covert.
                    In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand as Auditor aforesaid, at Shelbyville, this fifth day of February, in the year 1866.
