            In the name of the Benevolent Father of all I  Thomas Claton  of Shelby county in the State of Indiana do make and publish this my last will and bequest but not revoking and gift devise or contract heretofore made by me

First I do give and bequeath unto my beloved wife  Susan Claton  at my death separate and apart from my former agreement or gift the following named articles 2 cows 2 Feather Beds 2 Bed Steads and Lounge 1 Burea 1 Clock 1 Stand 1 pair of Tables 12 Blankets quilts and coverlets 2 pigs 1 Kitchen safe 2 carpets 2 dozen poultry 1 Vanite a Kitchen Stove and utencels 1 Large Iron Kettle 1 Set Dishes 1 Wooden Bucket 1 Set Chairs 2 Rocking Chairs 3 Arm Chairs 2 Tables 1 Clothes Wringer and to remain hers during her natural lifetime    In testemony hereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 28” day Of April 1874
