            I  Caleb Sleeth  of Shelby County and State of Indiana do make and Publish this my last will and testament

            Item First     That all my Just debts and funeral Expences Shall be paid out of my property by the Executor of this Will the Residue of my Estate after the payment of the above named Expences I give, devise, and dispose of as follows to wit To  Savina Bramble  her and her heirs alone I give twenty six Acres of land more or less Bounded as follows towit  South West corner of the North East quarter of Section Two in Township thirteen Range seven running East fifty three Rods (53) thence North halfway to the North line of said tract thence West twenty three rods (23) thence North to the North line then west thirty rods thence South to the place of beginning         Second to  Nancy Wilcoxen  and to her alone I give twenty six Acres of land more or less Bounded as follows towit Commencing fifty three rods East of the  South West corner of the North East quarter of section Two in Township thirteen Range Seven Running thirty rods (30) East thence North to the North line of said Tract thence West fifty three rods (53) thence South halfway to the South line thirty rods to the place of beginning and I consider the last named worth one hundred dollars more than the first named tract and it is in consideration for one hundred dollars left to the said Nancy Wilcoxen by her mother and the Residue of my land I give one third to  Samuel A. Sleeth  one Third to  Enoch G. Sleeth  and one third to  Zeno Sleeth  their to divide it them Selves as suit them Best and Balser Sleeth has received his part in full Except a certain Note held by me which is to go to him at my decease  And if after the Expences is paid there is a residue left it is to be equally divided among my heirs Except my Rifle gun it I give to  Enoch G. Sleeth  oldest son of Caleb without Reserve.
            I now hereby appoint Andrew R. Sleeth my Executor of this my last will revoke all other Wills made by me before this date given and My hand this 14” day of May 1867

            Be it remembered that on the 23” day of August 1879 Andrew R. Sleeth and Charles M. Sleeth the subscribing witnesses to the within and foregoing last Will and Testament of Caleb Sleeth late of said County deceased personally appeared before Bellamy S. Sutton Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County in the state of Indiana, and being duly sworn by the Clerk of said Court upon their oaths declare and testify as follows That is to say That on the Fourteenth day of May 1867 they saw the said Caleb Sleeth sign his name to said instrument in writing as and for his last Will and Testament: and that these deponents at the same time heard the said Caleb Sleeth declare the said instrument in writing to be his last Will and Testament and the said instrument in writing was at the same time, at the request of the said Caleb Sleeth and with his consent attested and subscribed by the said Andrew R. Sleeth and Chas. M. Sleeth in the presence of said testator, and in the presence of each other as subscribing witnesses thereto, and that the said Caleb Sleeth was at the time of the signing and subscribing of said instrument in writing as aforesaid of full age (that is more than twenty one years of age) and of sound and disposing mind and memory, and not under any coercion or restraint, as the said deponents verily believe, and further deponents say not.

            I Bellamy S. Sutton Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, Indiana do hereby certify that the within annexed Will and Testament of Caleb Sleeth has been duly admitted to probate and duly proved by the testimony of Andrew R. Sleeth and Charles M. Sleeth the subscribing witnesses thereto that a complete record of said Will and of the testimony of the said Caleb Sleeth in proof thereof, has been by me duly made and recorded in Book One at pages 540 & 541 of the Record of Wills of said County
            In attestation whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed the seal of said Court at Shelbyville this 23” day of August 1879
