Will and Testament
Edward H. Chadwick
I Edward H Chadwick of Shelby County Indiana do hereby make and publish this my last will and testament, and do hereby revoke any and all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.
I do hereby nominate my wife Mary Chadwick to be the executrix of the will and inasmuch as I shall by a subsequent item of this will give and bequeath and devise all my estate to my said wife and in as much as all material indebtedness owing by me at the time of my death shall probably be secured by mortgage in real estate it is my express will and direction that my said wife be not required to give bond for the faithful discharge of the direction of her trust.
It is my further will and direction that said executrix be not required by any court to file any inventory of my estate nor to submit any report to any court of the administration of my estate except that after the lapse of one year from the issue of letters testamentary therein she shall file a final report in said estate showing payment of all debts and liabilities against said estate.
It is my further wish that my son John E Chadwick shall assist his mother, as for as she shall wish in the settlement of said estate.
I do hereby give bequeath and devise to my beloved wife Mary Chadwick all property both real and personal of whatever description and whereover situate of which I shall be the owner at the time of my estate, the same to be hers absolutely and in fee simple forever.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 25th day of April AD 1907.
