Last  Will  and  Testament  of

Elizabeth  Trimble

18 April 1916

In the Name of our Benevolent Father, I,  Elizabeth Trimble  do make and declare the following to be my last Will and Testament.

Item 1st.   It is my desire, that after my death, all of my just debts, including the costs of my last illness, funeral expenses, and the costs of the administration of my estate, be paid out of any money that may belong to me at the time of my decease; or if there should be a deficiency thereof, that a sum sufficient therefor shall be realized out of the proceeds of the sale of my personal estate, or so much thereof as may be necessary.

Item 2nd.   After the full payment of all the items as mentioned above, I devise and bequeath to my Nephew  Levi Trimble Jr.  the son of  John Trimble,  my brother, the entire residue of my estate, both Real and personal, to be owned and held by him in fee simple.

Item 3rd.   I hereby appoint, and request my brother John Trimble, to carry into force the provisions of this Will.

          In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 1st day of July 1882.

Signed, sealed and acknowledged by Elizabeth Trimble as her last Will and Testament in our presence, and signed by us as witnesses thereto in her presence and in the presence of each other, July 1st 1882.

State of Indiana, Shelby County, SS:
          Be it remembered that on the 18 day of April, A.D., 1916 the 32 judicial day of the Mar Term of the Shelby Circuit Court in said year, come into open Court A. E. Lisher and produces in Court an instrument in writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Trimble, deceased, and now moves the admittance thereof to probate and record, and in proof of said Will introduces George M. Wright the subscribing witnesses thereto, who being duly sworn by the Clerk of said Court, on oath, declare and testify as follows, that is to say:   That on the July 1, 1882 he saw the said Elizabeth Trimble sign her name to said instrument in writing as and for her last Will and Testament; and that this deponent, at the same time, heard the said Elizabeth Trimble declare the said instrument in writing to be her last Will and Testament, and that the said instrument in writing was, at the same time, at the request of the said Elizabeth Trimble and with her consent attested and subscribed by the said George M. Wright and Orville L. Bishop in the presence of said testator, and in the presence of each other, as subscribing witnesses thereto, and that the said Elizabeth Trimble was, at the time of the signing and subscribing of said instrument in writing, as aforesaid, of full age (that is, more than tweny-one years of age) and of sound and disposing mind and memory, and not under any coercion or restraint, as the said deponent verily believes, and further deponent says not.

Sworn to and subscribed by the said George M. Wright before me Cecil B. Collins, Clerk of said Court, at Shelbyville, Indiana, the 18 day of April 1916.

Whereupon it is ordered, adjudged and decreed by the Court that said instrument in writing purporting to be the last Will of Elizabeth Trimble deceased, is the last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Trimble deceased, and is hereby admitted to probate and record in this Court.

          I, Cecil B. Collins Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, Indiana, do hereby certify that the within annexed Will and Testament of Elizabeth Trimble has been duly admitted

to probate, and duly proved by the testimony of George M. Wright one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, that a complete record of said Will, and of the testimony of said George M. Wright in proof thereof, has been by me duly made and recorded in Book 7 at Pages 111 & 112 of the record of Wills of said County.

          IN  ATTESTATION  WHEREOF,  I have hereunto subscribed my name, and affixed the seal of said Court, at Shelbyville, Indiana, this 18 day of April 1916.
