          I  Hiram Lee of Hendricks Township Shelby County Indiana being of sound mind do make and publish this my last Will and Testament

Item 1.    I direct that my Administrator with my Will annexed shall pay all of my just indebtedness, and that my said Administrator shall erect a suitable monument at my grave.

Item 2.   I will and bequeath to my son  John Lee  the sum of Two hundred and Twenty nine Dollars.

Item 3.    I will and bequeath to my son  Levi Lee  the sum of Two Hundred and Twenty Nine Dollars.

Item 4.    I will and bequeath to my daughter  Melvina Cowen  the sum of One hundred and Sixty nine Dollars.

Item 5.    I will and bequeath to my son  Joseph Lee  the sum of One hundred and Fifteen Dollars.

Item 6.    I will and bequeath to my son  William Lee  the sum of One hundred and Eighty three Dollars.

Item 7.    After the payment of the above bequests to my sons and daughter above named if there be any money or property remaining undivided, I will and bequeath such remainder to my seven children viz:  Abe Lee,  William Lee,  Joseph Lee,  David Lee,  Levi Lee,  John Lee  and  Melvina Cowen, the one seventh part each in value.

In testimony hereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 17” day of September 1891.

Signed and acknowledged by said Hiram Lee as his last Will and Testament in our presence and signed by us in his presence this 17” day of September 1891.

State of Indiana, Shelby County, SS:
                    Be it Remembered, That on the 27 day of May 1892 the 5th judicial day of the May Term of the Shelby Circuit Court in said year, come into open Court John A. Tindall and produces in Court an instrument in writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Hiram Lee deceased, and now moves the admittance thereof to probate and record, and in proof of said will introduces John A. Tindall one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, who, being duly sworn by the Clerk of said Court, on oath, declare and testify as follows, that is to say: that on the 17” day of September 1891 he saw the said Hiram Lee sign his name to said instrument in writing as and for his last Will and Testament; and that this deponent, at the same time, heard the said Hiram Lee declare the said instrument in writing to be his last Will and Testament, and that the said instrument in writing was, at the same time, at the request of the said Hiram Lee and with his consent attested and subscribed by the said John A. Tindall and Alice E. Tindall in the presence of said testator, and in the presence of each other, as subscribing witnesses thereto, and that the said Hiram Lee was, at the time of the signing and subscribing of said instrument in writing, as aforesaid, of full age, (that is, more than twenty-one years of age), and of sound and disposing mind and memory, and not under any coercion or restraint, as the said deponent verily believes, and further deponent says not.

                    Whereupon it is ordered, adjudged and decreed by the Court that said instrument in writing purporting to be the last Will of Hiram Lee deceased, is the last Will and Testament of Hiram Lee deceased, and is hereby admitted to probate and record in this Court.

State of Indiana, Shelby County, SS:
                    I, John R. Sedgwick Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, Indiana, do hereby certify that the within annexed Will and Testament of Hiram Lee has been duly admitted to probate, ad duly proved by the testimony of John R. Tindall one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, that a complete record of said Will, and of the testimony of the said John R. Tindall in proof thereof, has been by me duly made and recorded in Book 3 at Pages ___ of the Record of Wills of said county.
                    In Attestation Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed the seal of said Court at Shelbyville this 27” day of May 1892.
