Last  Will  and  Testament   of
Mary  St  John

          I, Mary St.John of Waldron in Shelby County, Indiana being of sound mind and disposing memory, do make and declare this to be my last Will and Testament and I hereby revoke any and all wills by me heretofore made.

          Item 1.  I hereby direct that my executor herein after named shall pay all of my just debts including the debts of my last sickness and funeral expenses as soon after my funeral as convenient and out of the first moneys that comes into his hands.

          Item 2.  I hereby will bequeath and give Three Hundred and Twenty-five ($325.00) dollars for charity and I direct the same to be given and paid out as follows: $100.00 to the Catholic Orphan Asylum at Terre Haute, $100.00 to the Little Sisters of the Poor at Indianapolis; $100.00 to St. Joseph's Catholic Church at St. Paul, all in the State of Indiana.

          Item 3.  I will and bequeath $100.00 to be paid for masses for the repose of the soul of my deceased husband, James St. John and my poor soul and I direct that $50.00 of the same be paid to the pastor of St. Vincent Catholic Church, and $50.00 be paid to the pastor of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, both in Shelby County, Indiana.

          Item 4.  I will and bequeath to Catharine Nickle $200.00 in cash, and the bed and bedding, two rockers, one stand and one Lounge now in the West room of my residence now living in Courtville, Ind.

          Item 5.  I will and devise to Annie Morris $300.00 in cash and all the balance of the furniture of which I may die possessed, she now living in Indianapolis, Indiana.

          Item 6.  I give and direct to Bridget Rooney of Silvertine, Indiana $200.00 in cash.

          Item 7.  I will give and devise to James St.John Riley of Indianapolis, Indiana $100.00 in cash.

          Item 8.  I give and will to Josephine Riley  and  Annie Riley both of Indianapolis each the sum of $100.00.

          Item 9.  I will and devise to Mary C. Killoran of Shelbyville, Indiana, $100.00 in cash.

          Item 10.  I will and give and devise to Bert Shine,  Mary Shine Holland  and  Earl Shine each the sum of $10.00 in cash.

          Item 11.  I hereby direct that my executor shall sell all of the real estate of which I may die the owner of and convert all of my estate into cash and after complying with all of the bequests in this my last will from Item 1 to Item 10 inclusive, and after paying the costs of Administration the residue of my estate I will devise and give to Annie Morris of Indianapolis, Indiana.

          Item 12.  I hereby nominate and appoint Thomas H. Campbell as Executor of this my last will and testament.

          This will sealed and declared to be the last will of the above named Mary St.John in our presence as witnesses and signed by us as witnesses in her presence and in the presence of each other and upon her special instance and request, this June 3rd, 1911.

          Be it remembered that on the 6th day of November A.D. 1911 the 25th Judicial day of the October Term of the Shelby Circuit Court in said year come into open Court, Thomas H. Campbell and produces in Court an instrument in writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Mary St.John, deceased and now moves the admittance thereof to probate and record and in proof of said Will introduces Joseph A. Haymond the subscribing witness thereto who being duly sworn by the Clerk of said Court on oath declare and testify as follows: that is to say: That on the 23rd day of June 1911 he saw the said Mary St.John sign her name to said instrument in writing as and for her last Will and Testament; and that this deponent at the same time heard the said Mary St.John declare the said instrument in writing to be her last Will and Testament and that the said instrument in writing was at the same time at the request of the said Mary St.John and with her consent attested anmd subscribed by the said Joseph A. Haymond and Earl Haymond in the presence of said testator, and in the presence of each other as subscribing witnesses thereto and that the said Mary St.John was at the time of the signing and subscribing of said instrument in writing as aforesaid, of full age (that is, more thatn twenty-one years of age) and of sound and disposing mind and memory and not under any coercion or restraint, as the said deponent verily believes, and further deponent says not.

          Whereupon it is ordered, adjudged and ordered by the Court that said instrument in writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Mary St.John, deceased is the last Will and Testament of Mary St.John, deceased, and is hereby admitted to probate and record in the Court.

          I, Otto L. Coyle, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, Indiana do hereby certify that the within annexed Will and Testament of Mary St.John has been duly admitted to probate and duly proved by the testimony of Joseph A. Haymond, one of the subscribing wintesses thereto that a complete record of said Will, and of the testimony of the said Joseph A. Haymond in proof thereof, has been by me duly made and recorded in Book 6 at pages 74-75-76 and 77, of the record of Wills of said County.
          In Attestation wherefore I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed the seal of said Court, at Shelbyville, Indiana this 6th day of November 1911.
