Last  Will  and  Testament
of
Norman  H. Strong,  deceased


Know all men by these presents that I,  Norman H. Strong  of Shelbyville, Shelby County, Indiana, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking any and all other wills by me at any time heretofore made.
                    First:  I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of the first moneys that may come into the hands of my executor.

                    Second:   I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife,  Emma A. Strong,  all property, both real and personal, of every kind and nature, and wherever situated, of which I may die seized or possessed, to be hers absolutely and in fee simple, to be used, managed, controlled, disposed of, sold and conveyed by her whenever and however she may desire.

                    Third:  Any of said property that may remain at the death of my said wife, I give, devise and bequeath to my two children,  Frank G. Strong  and  Ursula B. Myer,  in equal portions.

                    Fourth:  I hereby constitute and appoint my beloved wife, Emma A. Strong, executor of this will and direct that no legal proceedings shall be required of her beyond the proper probating and recording of this will.

                    Witness my hand and seal this seventh day of August, 1900.

                                        Be it remembered, That on the fifth day of August, 1915, H. L. Downey, one of the subscribing witnesses to the within and foregoing last Will and Testament of Norman H. Strong late of said County, deceased, personally appeared before the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, in the State of Indiana, and being duly sworn by Clerk of said Court, upon his oath, declared and testified as follows, that is to say:  That on the Seventh day of August, 1900 he saw the said Norman H. Strong sign his name to the said instrument in writing as and for his last Will and Testament; and that this deponent, at the same time, heard the said Norman H. Strong declare the said instrument in writing to be his last Will and Testament and that the said instrument in writing was, at the same time, at the request of the said Norman H. Strong and with his consent attested and subscribed by the said  H. L. Downey and G. W. F. Kirk in the presence of said testator, and in the presence of each other, as subscribing witnesses thereto, and that the said Norman H. Strong was, at the time of the signing and subscribing of said instrument in writing, as aforesaid, of full age (that is, more than twenty-one years of age), and of sound and disposing mind and memory, and not under any coercion or restraint, as the said deponent verily believes, and further deponent says not.

                    I, Cecil B. Collins, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Shelby County, Indiana, do hereby certify that the within annexed Will and Testament of Norman H. Strong has been duly admitted to probate, and duly proved by the testimony of H. L. Downey one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, that a complete record of said Will, and of the testimony of the said H. L. Downey in proof thereof, has been by me duly made and recorded in Book 7 at Pages 26-27 of the record of Wills of said County.

                    In Attestation Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed the seal of said Court, at Shelbyville, this 5 day of August 1915.
