At the business session yesterday morning $1,000 was
appropriated for the purpose of moving the Beechwood Manual Training Academy
from Fairland to Boggstown, Shelby County, a distance of about six miles.

The Indian Historical Society has posted a great
picture of the Beechwood Academy, Box 8, Fairland, on the Indiana Memory
website. Under the picture (it is a postcard) is printed "The school
that trains for eternity."
