COMMENCEMENT  EXERCISES

Of  Manilla  High  School  Graduating
Class  to  Be  Held  Friday  Night.

          The baccalaureate sermon was preached to the graduating class of the Manilla High school by the Rev. Anthony, of the M. E. church in Manilla, Sunday night.  The commencement exercises are to be held on the coming Friday night in the auditorium of the school.  The class play will be presented on Tuesday night, May 2, in the High school building.  The five members of the Senior class are  Ione J. Brown,  Lee Gardner,  Faye M. Edwards,  Mary A. Parrish,  Emerson Rigsbe.  The class play will be  "The Follies of the Manilla High School."  The white rose is the class flower and the class colors are gold and black.  Their motto is, "Thus endeth our first lesson."
