-----------
Tommy Barnett,  the little son of  James Barnett,  picked up a dynamite cap in  Squire Gregory's yard, in Noble township, Sunday, and carried it home with him.  When he arrived home he got a needle and proceeded to pick away at its contents.  It exploded and several fingers on his left hand had to be amputated, while his right hand was horrible mangled.  It is a great wonder that the little fellow and his brothers were not instantly killed by the accident.  Drs. Keeling and  Jenkins  rendered medical aid.
