Dan Becker,  Saturday, filed an affidavit against  Everett Higgins, charging the latter with malicious trespass.  Higgins will be given a hearing Wednesday evening at seven o'clock in the court of  Justice Moberly.  It seems that Higgins claims that he had a stall rented in a barn belinging to Mrs. Becker.  Dan locked up the barn so that Higgins could not get in, and Higgins took a hatchet and smashed the lock.

Dan Becker,  Walter Moore  and  James Ransdall  went to Boggstown, Saturday night, to attend the initiation of fourteen candidates into the Degree of Pocahontas.  The affairs of the Red Men at that place are in a very flourishing conditions, as although only a year and a half old, it at present has eighty-seven members.  At the next meeting ten candidates will ride the Red Man's idea of bewhiskered goathood.
