40 & 8 OFFICIAL DIES

          Shelbyville, Ind., ---- Russell Benefield, 45, Shelbyville, who was Indiana commander of 40 & 8, fun-making affiliate of the American Legion, died in a hospital Monday after suffering a heart attack in his home.

          Miss Essie Benefiel  is spending a few days as the guest of her father,  Theodore Benefiel,  of Union township.  She leaves Sunday for Wisconsin, where she will spend a few days.
