TWO  AUTOS  COLLIDED.
----------
          Automobiles owned by  Edward Flack  of this city and  Earl Buck, of Van Buren township, collided Wednesday night about eight o'clock at Harrison and Broadway streets.  The machines were slightly damaged.  Mr. Flack was turning his car into Broadway and Mr. Buck was turning onto Harrison street.

          The undersigned Board of Commissioners of Shelby County, Indiana, in order to raise the amount of money necessary to pay the Bounties offered to Volunteers under the last call of the President of the United States, it is necessary to dispose of County Bonds to the amount of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars.  Said Bonds are now in the hands of the Treasurer of said county, to be sold and are issued in sums of $100, $500, and $1000, payable in one year, bearing interest from date, and will be promptly paid when due.
          Come forward, gentlemen, and show your patriotism in a practical way.

Proceedings of the Board of County
Commissioners.
          The Board conened at the Court House in Shelbyville, on Monday, Dec., 1st, 1862.  Present:  HENRY  BUCK,  JA'S  J. CURTISS -- and  JOHN  M'CONNELL, Commissioners.
          A License was granted  John M'Carty  to sell intoxicating liquors in a less quantity than one quart at a time.
          It was ordered that the wife of  John McLaughlin,  a Volunteer in the service of the U.S. be allowed the sum of one dollar and fifty cents a week.  The wife of  Marmaduke Lindsey,  a Volunteer, two dollars and fifty cents a week, and the wife of  Jacob Yager,  a Volunteer, one dollar and fifty cents cents[sic] a week, all of Addison Township, and that  Nathan Goodrich, Trustee of the Township pay the same.
