          Jap Carlisle, rosy cheeked and as genial as a school boy, paid this office a pleasant call Saturday.  The boys at Waldron are talking of electing Jap mayor of that thriving little village.

          J. M. Carlisle, of Waldron, was married ust twenty years last Saturday.  He gave his wife an elegant present, a fine piano purchased from  D. H. Baldwin & Co., 21 West Franklin St.
