The Democrat office received a pleasant call on Friday afternoon from  Mr. Joseph L. Carson,  of Fairland.  Mr. Carson, by reason of a new law passed by the last Legislature, is not now connected with the Central Insane Hospital at Indianapolis.  During the past two years he served the State without a dollar salary, he acting under the law passed two years ago.  Mr. Carson expressed a desire to see The Democrat continue to prosper, and assured us of his hearty support.
