ROOME ARRAIGNED

Arranges to Pay Weekly Allowance for Children.

Wib Roome, of St. Omer, arrested
several days ago on a charge of child desertion, appeared in Shelby circuit
court today. He was released after he had arranged to pay seven dollars a
week to his mother-in-law, Mrs. Sadie Chappelow, for the support of his
two children. He is to have the custody of the children on Sunday
afternoons. His wife is now in Shelbyville. A divorce complaint is
pending in the Marion county courts.
