CARLTON-CORD  RITE
PERFORMED  WEDNESDAY

          Announcement has been made of the marriage of  Miss Irene Cord, daughter of  Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cord, or north of this city and  Kenneth Carlton, of Greenfield.
          The ceremony was solemnized Wednesday evening at 8:00 o'clock in the St. Joseph rectory with the Rev. Clement Zepf officiating.  Miss Mary Allison, of this city and  Robert  Singleton, of Rushville, were attendants and  Miss Thelma Worland  and  Miss Maude Karmire  were guests for the service.
          The bride wore poudre blue with navy accessories and her corsage was of deep red carnations.  Miss Allison was dressed in white jersey with accents of poudre blue.  Her flowers were also red carnations.
          Following a short wedding trip the couple will reside in this city.
