IS  HONORED  WITH
BIRTHDAY  PARTY.

          Mrs. Walter Emerick,  of near Bengal, was honored with a birthday party Sunday.  It was in the form of a picnic lunch at the Carter Grove, of Bengal, with several friends and relatives present.
          The guests included, besides Mr. Emerick and their daughter,  Ruth,  and their son,  Buddy;  Mr. and Mrs. Harry Shutt,  of near the Cave;  Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller,  Mr. and Mrs. Otis Campbell  and son  Bobbie;  Mrs. Marie Rapp  and daughter,  Billie Lou;  Mrs. Laura Dugan,  Miss Mary Margaret Keith,  Miss Sarah Isley,  Wayne Emerick  and  Earl Emerick.
          After a social meeting in the afternoon, they were served refreshments of ice cream and cake.
         
Note:  There is a picture of  Herbert Emerick  in the same graduating class with Otis Campbell, but I do not know the connection.

          Mr. and Mrs. Vick Buscher,  of Chicago, leave soon on a trip to Europe.  Mrs. Buscher will be recognized here as  Miss Jennie Emerick.

          Jacob Emerick,  as administrator of the estate of  Christian Kittenring,  deceased, has filed a petition to sell real estate to pay debts.
