DIVORCE  CASE  ORDER
MODIFIED  BY  COURT
----------
An order which was made at the time a divorce was granted  Charles I. Fishel, of this city, and  Mrs. Gertrude Fishel, of Hope, in the Bartholomew Circuit Court, has been modified by Judge Donaker to the extent that the father will be permitted to visit the two children, at the home of the former wife, or at the home of his mother, Mrs. J. C. Fishel, at Hope.  Mr. Fishel had asked that he be permitted to keep the children at his home in this city a part of the time, but the court refused the request.  Fishel was married several months ago to  Miss Lora Brooks, of this city, formerly of Hope.  The first wife some time ago visited Judge Donaker at Columbus, and remonstrated against the children being placed with the father a part of the time.  She said that she did not believe the daughter would go, even if the petition of the father was granted.

DIVORCED  AT  COLUMBUS
----------
Mrs. Gertrude Fishel,  of Hope, has been granted a divorce from  Charles I. Fishel  on the cross complaint which she filed several days ago.  She was also given the custody of their two children and allowance of $10 a week for their support.  The case has been pending for months.  It was started in Columbus with Mr. Fishel’s action for a divorce, next it was located in Greensburg on a change of venue and later was returned to Columbus.  Mrs. Fishel charged her husband with infidelity, naming a Shelbyville woman as correspondent.  The Fishel's are prominently known in this section of the state.
