The first reunion of the Gallagher-Crosby families was held Sunday at the Peter Gallagher grove, near Boggstown, and was a huge success in every way. Seventy-nine members of the fmailies were present for the occasion and the day will be one long remembered by all. The feature event of the day was the sumptuous dinner at the noon hour. The afternoon was enjoyed witnessing various athletic games. The second annual renunion of the families will be held next year at the same place. Those at the reunion Sunday were Peter Gallagher and family, Frank Gallagher and family, Richard Gallagher and family, William Gallagher and family, Mrs. James Gallagher [the article continues but my copy ends here - PMF].Thursday, August 21, 1913
