          Len Hackney, Sr.,  of Shelbyville, has rented the Bissel Hotel and will over haul and refurnish it in first class style.  It will be open for business about the first of September, so the agent,  Mr. Boyer  informs us.

          We understand that at a convention of the Democracy of Blue River township, Johnson County, held at Edinburg last Saturday the delegates were unanimously instructed to vote for  Len Hackney  of this city, for Prosecutor.
