MISSING  FATHER  IS

----------
Sheriff of Johnson County Arrested
Jerry Isgrigg on a Local Warrant
----------
Jerry Isgrigg, missing from this city since last June and divorced by his wife several months ago was arrested Thursday by the sheriff of Johnson county on a warrant issued in the Shelby circuit court charging him with failing to support his children.  Isgrigg was taken in charge at Jollity in Johnson county, was brought to this city and placed in the county jail.
The charge against Isgrigg was filed here last Tuesday by his wife, who has been living with her parents in Hendricks township. Mrs. Isgrigg was granted a divorce from her husband recently in the Shelby circuit court on a charge of abandonment and he was ordered to pay support for their two children.  Isgrigg left his wife and two children last June and nothing was heard of him after that.  He has never contributed anything toward the support of the children since leaving home, according to Mrs. Isgrigg.
Bond in the case of Isgrigg was fixed at $500 in the Shelby circuit court Thursday evening.  Efforts were being made today by Isgrigg to provide the amount of bond for his release from jail pending the hearing in the case.
