Demand for payment of support and for an allowance to retain attorneys, is made by  Mrs. Stella M. Kehl,  defendant in the complaint recently filed by Russell T. Kehl, for a divorce.  Mrs. Kehl has filed a petition in the Shelby Circuit court for the support and allowance and is represented in the action by Emerson J. Brunner, attorney.
The couple was married April 6, 1918 and separated March 14, 1924, according to her petition.  The three children are in her custody and she has no funds with which to support herself or the children, she claims.  Mrs. Kehl alleges that she and the children were abandoned by the plaintiff and that she has been forced to return to the home of her mother, four miles south of this city, where she is living.
The petition estimates that Mrs. Kehl should receive an allowance of $50 for her attorney and payment of $12.50 per week for her support. The plaintiff earns $25 a week she says.
