NOW  DANGEROUSLY  ILL

Peter  G.  Kamp,  Well  Known  Citizen,
Gradually  Passing  Away.
----------
Mr. Peter G. Kamp,  of North Harrison street, is gradually growing weaker, the word being that he is fatally ill.  Recently while on a visit to Chicago, Mr. Kamp was stricken with paralysis, one side of the body being involved.  He was brought to his home a few days later.  Since then he has suffered with a form of pneumonia which has left him in a very weakened condition.
During his early life Mr. Kamp was engaged in the lead, oil and paint business in Louisville with his brother.  His lungs became infected and he disposed of his business, going to Colorado to try to recover his health.  While in Denver he was clerk in a hotel simply as a matter of occupation.
In Indiana Mr. Kamp was associated with a number of influential men then engaged in natural gas developments.  They had exploited the Hancock county field.  They came here and organized the Southern Indiana Gas Company.  Mr. Kamp was made secretary of the corporation and dicusted its affairs until it was sold some time ago to the Interstate Public Service Company.
He has always been considered one of the best men of the community and his friends will join in the wish that his life be preserved.

Will Phillipy  whipped  Isaac Kemp  on the streets of Morristown yesterday.  All over politics.  Isn't it a little early to begin fighting about politics, boys?  Keep your shirts on at least until after dog-days.
