FAMILIES  ASSEMBLE.

          Twenty-two families met at the Shelbyville Shelter house for the co-reunion of the  Kendall  and  Updegraff  families, held Sunday.

          A large barn on the farm three miles west of this city, owned by  Mrs. Baker  of Brookville, burned on Saturday night.   Washington Kendall,  the tenant, lost a pair of mules, one horse and a lot of wheat, hay, harness and farming implements on which there was no insurance.   The origin of the fire is unknown.
