SHELBYVILLE  WIFE  SHOOTS  SELF;
CONDITION  CRITICAL
---------
          Shelbyville, Ind., May 20--- Mrs. Jessie Lynch, 26 years old, shot herself with a revolver at her home here yesterday, in a suicide attempt, and is in critical condition.  She is the wife of  Arthur Lynch,  saw mill operator here, who states that despondency over ill health caused the act.  Mrs. Lynch was alone at the time.  The bullet passed through her left lung above the heart.  The shot was fired in an upstairs room of the house and Mrs. Lynch succeeded in reaching the front veranda of the house, where she fell screaming to the floor.
