SHELBYVILLE, Ind., April 21 -- On last Saturday night at St. Paul, ten miles distant, an affray occurred between  James Mandlove  and his son  David,  in which the son, who was under the influence of whiskey, fired three shots from his revolver, the first missing, the second entering his father's left arm, and the third striking him on the left side, between the second and third ribs, from the effects of which he died this morning.  The son was arrested soon after and taken to jail at Greensburg.  Intense excitement prevails, and fears are entertained that he will be taken out and lynched.
