MRS. LARRY  MERRICK
IS  FETED  WITH  SHOWER

          Mrs. Larry Merrick  of St. Paul, the former  Miss Roberta Engle, was honored Wednesday evening with a miscellaneous shower given by  Mrs. Cyril Collins,  Mrs. Ralph Kettler  and  Mrs. Hubert Engle  at the local Moose lodge and hall.
          Appointments were carried out in blue and white.  The tables at which the guests were seated held miniature dolls and the gift table was centered with a large bride doll.  Following the presentation of gifts, games were enjoyed, with prizes going to  Diana Harrell,  Mrs. Verle McCalip  and  Ruth Ford.  Refreshements of ice cream and cake, made as wedding bells, were served, with  Mrs. Nancy Vance,  Janet Sue Engle  and  Katherine Aldridge presiding at the table.
          Guests with those named were  Mrs. Charles Gaines,  grandmother of the bridge, Mrs. Herman Lewis  and daughter  Irene,  Mrs. Roy Aldridge,  Ruth Merrick,  Dorothy Martin,  Mrs. Floyd Sullivan,  Mrs. Ernestine Gotcher  and  daugher  Nancy,  Mrs. Francis Ford  and  daughter,  Mrs. Eleanor Sipes  and grandson Robbie,  Mrs. William Pogue,  Mrs. Freda Gunning,  Mrs. Nola Harrell,  Mrs. Raymond Biehl  and her son and also her niece of Rushville and  Mrs. Ernest Lee  and son  Danny  of Indianapolis.
