Building on Farm Near St. Paul
Valued at $5,000 -- Many Tons
of Hay, Implements Burned
----------
A barn valued at $5,000, one hundred tons of hay, and a number of farming implements were destroyed by fire Sunday afternoon at about 4:30 o'clock on the  Nelly Mueller  farm, east of St. Paul.  The farm is tenanted by  Renzie Wolford.  The cause of the fire is not known.
The barn which was burned to the ground, was insured but the hay and implements stored in the building were not covered by insurance.
Although neighbors and friends gathered at the scene of the fire and attempted to stop the flames, their efforts were unavailing and the barn was destroyed, in one of the largest fire in the St. Paul community in several years.
