Mr. and Mrs. John Nicholson, 902 Elm St., celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary Saturday with family.
Mr. Nicholson and Betty Hobbs were married Sept. 21, 1945, in the Church of God by the Rev. C. A. Longston.
Mr. & Mrs. Nicholson retired from Continental Kitchens.
Parents of Mrs. Dennis (Joyce) Abel, Indianapolis, Mrs. Danny (Lois) Inman, Ted Nicholson and Mrs. David (Patti) Phelps, all of Shelbyville, Fred Nicholson, Bloomington, and Mrs. Lee (Karen) Brown, Texas.
23 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
