          A boy given the name of  Spencer  was born to  Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schnalter  [Schnaitter]  of Shelbyville.  The mother was formerly  Miss Edith Spencer.  He is welcomed into the home by a little sister.  Mrs. Fred Spencer,  Gertrude  and  Marjorie Spencer,  mother and sisters, motored to Shelbyville on Saturday to visit the mother and baby.

          A daughter, weighing seven pounds and named  Carolyn  was born April 25 to  Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schnaitter  of Shelbyville.  The mother was  Miss Edith Spenser,  a former teacher in the English department of the Kokomo high school.
