          Fred Straub  stepped on a nail Monday, and is laid up in bed from the injury and suffering severely.  His next door neighbor,  Mrs. John Colston  is suffering from a similar accident.

          Miss Mary Straub,  daughter of  Fred Straub, of this city, is dying with consumption in the convent at Oldenburg.  She is known there as  Sister Seraphiea.
