Miss Lucille Stubbs Becomes Bride
of Maurice Mayfield in
Arizona.
----------
          Announcement has been received here of the marriage of  Miss Lucille Stubbs  and  Maurice Mayfield,  which took place Saturday in their newly furnished home at Phoenix, Ariz., in the presence of a few near relatives and close friends with the Rev. Heydon, pastor of the First Baptist church of Phoenix reading the ceremony.
          Mrs. Mayfield is the daughter of  Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Stubbs,  formerly of Shelbyville and now of the Union neighborhood, Johnson county.  She has been making her home for several years at Phoenix, and is cashier of the Upton Ice Crem parlors.
          Maurice Mayfield is a son of  Mr. and Mrs. Milton Mayfield,  Whiteland.  He graduated from Franklin College with the class of 1930, is a member of Kappa Delta Rho, Pi Delta Kappa and Blue Key, and is now with the Continental Oil Co., with headquarters at Phoenix, covering northern Arizona and part of New Mexico.
          The couple will be at home at 2021 west Washington street, Phoenix.
