Lewis Whalen, who stole a pair of suspenders and a pair of socks from a Fairland store on August 1st, plead guilty to larceny last week and was given one year in the pen, fined $1 and disfranchised for a year.  The value of the articles taken was estimated at the enormous sum of one dollar.
