Cheatham  Wilbur  Rite  Is  Read  At  Parsonage

          The marriage of  Miss Helen Wilbur  of this city and  R. L. Cheatham  of Shelby county was solemnized Monday evening at the parsonage of the Vine Street Methodist Church, Rev. Bessie Cowles  officiated.
          The couple was unattended.
          Mrs. Cheatham was attired in a brown ensemble with matching accessories.  She is a former employee of the Cinch Manufacturing Company.  The groom is a farmer and the couple will reside north of this city.

APPENDICITIS  OPERATION.

          Alberta Wilber,  age seven, daughter of  Mr. and Mrs. Dillon Wilber,  357 South Tompkins street, is recovering from an appendicitis operation at the Major hospital.  The operation was performed by  Dr. Little  of Indianapolis, assisted by  Drs. C. A. and  P. R. Tindall,  of this city.
