Mr. Wilkinson  happened in town today to see the circus and  Mrs. Wilkinson  also came.  They met, made up their differences and this afternoon, locked arms, and made their way to the circus grounds where they were among the first to purchase tickets for the performance.  Mrs. Wilkinson will now probably ask that the charge of wife desertion against her husband be dismissed.

Clothing Caught Fire While En-
gaged in Ironing -- No Hopes En-
tertained for Her Recovery.
----------
Mrs. Jerry Wilkinson  was horribly burned Thursday morning at her home, and no hopes are enterteained for her recovery.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilkinson reside in Marion township, just north of this city.  She was engaged in ironing clothes, and had her ironing board placed near the front of the stove.  About 9:30 o'clock while engaged in her work and standing with her back to the stove, the lower part of her dress was drawn in to the stove, it catching fire.  Mrs. Wilkinson did not discover this until the rear part of her skirt was entirely burned.  Soon as she saw this she ran out of the house, in to the yard, by this time all her clothing and part of her flesh being on fire.  She fell to the ground where the blaze was extinguished but not before it had burned her body in a horible manner.
Dr. T. C. Kennedy, of this city;  Dr. Simmons,  of Marion; and  Dr. Snider,  of Fairland, were called.  They did what they could to save her life but fears are entertained that she cannot recover.
