Rites for Charles Becker
To Be Held Saturday

          Charles E. Becker,  63, former employee at the local post office, died Thursday afternoon at 5:30 at the I.O.O.F. Home in Greensburg.
          Mr. Becker, son of  Daniel and  Lydia (Thompson) Becker,  was born in Shelbyville on September 23, 1887.  Until moving to Indianapolis 20 years ago he had spent his entire life in this city.  He had been a resident of the Odd Fellows Home for several years.
          HE  IS  SURVIVED  by one brother and three sisters,  Otis Becker  and  Mrs. Beatrice Jackson  of Indianapolis;  Mrs. Mary Kelley  of Peru and  Mrs. Herma Whitlock  of Clinton.
          Mr. Becker was a member of the local First Christian Church and  Rev. E. L. Ford,  pastor of the church, will officiate at funeral rites Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Ewing Mortuary.  Interment will be at Forest Hill.  Friends may call at the mortuary after 7:00 o'clock this evening. Funeral  for  Mrs.  Salomie
Becker  Saturday

          Funeral services for  Mrs. Salomie Becker,  age 79, will be held at the Bengal Methodist Church Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock with  Rev. Wayland Siders,  pastor of the church, officiating.  Burial will be made in the Second Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church cemetery in charge of C. F. Fix & Son.

Mrs.  Salomie  Becker
Dies  At  Daughter's

          Mrs. Salome Becker  died yesterday at the home of a son-in-law and daughter,  Mr. and Mrs. Walter Parker,  two and one-half miles southwest of Bengal.  Funeral arrangements will be announced by D. E. Carmony.
