Dorothy Dianne Bonte, 45, of Shelbyville, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004, at Major Hospital. Born May 22, 1959, in Newark, Ohio, she was the daughter of Bordie Lee and Ruth Ann (Pethtel) Newton. She married Michael J. Bonte on July 12, 1986, and he survives.Saturday, August 7, 2004

Other survivors include her parents, Bordie L. Newton and Ruth A. Humphrey, her stepfather, Gene Humphrey, and her stepmother, Judy Newton, all of Newark; three sons, Roay [Rory] Bonte, Raleigh Bonte and Riker Bonte, all of Shelbyville; two brothers, Larry Newton of New Holland, Ohio, and Phillip Newton of Michigan; five sisters, Cheryl Newton and Latisha Humphries, both of Newark; Cynthia Broseus of St. Louisville, Ohio, and Sandra Bradshaw of Gahan, Ohio.
Mrs. Bonte was a homemaker. She was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church.
Local visitation wil be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, 3718 E. Blue Ridge Road. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, with the Rev. Robb Barlow officiating. Visitation will also be from 1 to 2 p.m. (Ohio time) Tuesday at Newark Memorial Gardens, in Newark, Ohio. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. (Ohio time), with the Rev. Robb Barlow officiating. Burial will be in Newark Memorial Gardens, in Newark. Memorial donations may be mae to Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, 3718 E. Blue Ridge Road, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
