George Bostic, 70, Dies in De-
catur County -- Funeral to
Be Friday.
----------
          George (Jack) Bostic,  70 years old, a resident of Shelby county for many years, died at 5:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in his home in Milford, Decatur county, after having been in ill health for eight years.  His condition became serious last Saturday.
          Mr. Bostic was born in Decatur county November 1, 1869, a son of  James and Melissa Hancock Bostic.  He was married in 1901.  Until four years ago he resided three miles northwest of Milford, in Shelby County.
          Survivors are four children:  Mrs. Herman (Edith) Hinkle,  Mrs. Artemus (Ethel) Goodwin  and  Kenneth Bostic,  all of Shelby county, and  Mrs. William (Dortha) Stover,  of Lewis Creek.  Also surviving are five grandchildren; a brother,  Ora Bostic,  of Indianapolis, and a sister,  Mrs. James Thornburg,  of North Dakota.
          The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday in the Milford Christian church, in charge of the Rev. Herbert Miller.  Burial will be in the Milford cemetery.  Charles R. Howe of Greensburg, is the funeral director.
