Rites for Former County Man at Waldron Church

          Claude Matthew Brison, age fifty-one, former resident of Waldron, died suddenly of a heart attack Saturday at midnight at Ocean View, Virginia, where he had gone with his family for a combined business and pleasure trip.  His home was at Charleston, West Virginia.
          Mr. Brison was born at Meltzer, Indiana on March 30, 1895, the son of  Joseph  and  Cora Mason Brison,  who now reside at Waldron.  He was an interior decorator by occupation and moved from Shelby county several years ago.
          On November 1, 1918, he was married to  Miss Beulah Stiffins,  of Dayton, Ohio, who survives with the parents, a son,  Joseph Brison,  of Charleston; three brothers,  Bryan,  of Charleston, and  Waldo  and  Ronald,  both of Waldron.  Several aunts and uncles also survive.
          Mr. Brison was a member of the Waldron Baptist church where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Young, of Franklin, and the Rev. Park T. Rushford officiating.  Burial will be made in the VanPelt cemetery in charge of  D. E. Carmony, of St. Paul.
          The body will arrive here today and will be taken to the home of the parents in Waldron where friends may call after 6:00 p.m.
