DIED FRIDAY EVENING
Raymond A. Burkhead Unable
To Throw Off Illness After
Weeks of Sickness
He was born in Shelby county, Nov. 5, 1898, and practically all his life has resided here. At his death he was aged twenty years, four months and two days. For several years he resided with his parents at Austin, Ind., during which time he attended the Christian church there. He was a particularly well liked young man of the community and his death brings great sadness to the residents, who sympathize to the greatest extent with Mr. and Mrs. Burkhead in this the loss of their only child.
Funeral services are announced for Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Lewis Creek Baptist Church, the pastor in charge. Burial will be made in the church cemetery in charge of Stewart & Fix, undertakers.
