          Annie S. Caspari,  of this city, died at the residence of her aunt  Caroline White,  in Benton county, Indiana Saturday night at 12 o'clock, July 16th, 1887.  The deceased, in company with her two sisters, were visiting their relatives at the time and only Satruday a letter was received by relatives here saying she had been sick, but was better and would return home in a few days.  She was eighteen years of age.  Her remains arrived here this morning at 4:30 o'clock, and were taken to the residence of her aunt,  Mrs. George Deprez.  The funeral services will be held at the Presbyterian Church Tuesday afternoon at three o'clock, Rev. Hughes officiating.  Miss Annie was an active member of the Young People Association and a member of the Golden Rule Society of this city.  The remains are in charge of Funeral Director D. B. Wilson.

LOCAL  NEWS.

          Mrs. Annie C. Caspari  died at her residence on West Broadway on the 15th inst., aged forty-one.  The funeral took place at two o'clock Sunday.  Services were held at the Presbyterian Church and were conducted by Rev. D. L. Williamson assisted by the Rev. Eschmeyer.  The pall-bearers were  G. W. F. Kirk,  L. C. Powell,  M. Posz,  N. B. Berryman,  S. B. Morris and  John Shelk.
